Dr. Kosmopoulos has been treating individuals suffering with ADHD, anxiety, depression, struggles with life transitions, and trauma for over a decade. He provides psychotherapy using interventions from evidence-based CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In addition to psychotherapy, Dr. Kosmopoulos provides neuropsychological and educational assessments and has extensive experience with clarifying attention andlearning disorders. He also provides cognitive remediation skills training for attention, learning, and memory.
       Dr. Kosmopoulos graduated Phi Beta Kappa/Magna Cum Laude from Wheaton College in Massachusetts and completed his PsyD requirements in clinical psychology at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, the only APA-accredited independent psychology program in New England.
Dr. Kosmopoulos received diverse and well-rounded clinical training at New England’s prominent clinical sites His pre doctoral practical and internships include college counseling, inpatient psychiatric, and community mental health settings. He completed two part-time post-doctoral positions: at South End Community Health Center, partnered with Boston Medical Center, that included Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) clinical training and at Mass General for Children at North Shore Medical Center with a clinical focus on pediatric neuropsychological evaluations. In addition to his clinical work, he held an adjunct faculty position for several years at Lasell College, Newton MA.
